- Abstract
Nowadays, oil pollution is one of the most serious environmental pollution, since it brings harmful effects for human survival. It is worldwild problem to be solved urgently. How to remove oil pollution and environmental purification becomes a important problem, and becomes a research hotspot. Application of adsorption materials possesses broad prospects, due to energy saving, environmental protection, efficiency and other advantages. In this paper Lankao Paulownia which is widely distributed and rapid growth is considered as the research object. The hydrophobicity and oleophilic of Lankao paulownia leaves are characterized by static contact water angle ( CA ) . Morphology and composition are characterized by scanning electron microscopy ( SEM ) and thermogravimetric analysis ( TGA ) . The reverse side of Lankao Paulownia leaves possesses the better hydrophobic performance, and static its contact water angle can reach 131°. Surface of leaves has roughness dendritic structure. Both sides of Lankao Paulownia leaves have super-oleophilic. The highest saturated oil absorption of Lankao Paulownia leaf can reach 10.7 g/g.
