- Authors

- Abstract
The article reports on the emergence in 1994 of new evidence about the mechanisms of healing the chronic ulceration of the gut in cases of duodenal ulceration, Crohn's disease and in chronic endodermal damage at other sites such as the colon, hepato-biliary tree, pancreas, stomach and esophagus. An integrated approach combining applied biochemistry, molecular biology and classical morphological analysis is used to define the function and structure of normal and diseased tissues.
