- Abstract
The article discusses the effects of dust, odor, and ammonia emissions from poultry farms on humans and their environment. Topics include the environmental impact of atmospheric ammonia emissions, research studying the use of deciduous bald cypress trees as a vegetative environmental buffer (VEB) against agricultural pollution, and the benefits of VEBs such as reduced emissions, increased energy efficiency, and a reduction in nitrogen runoff.
