- Abstract
The article analyzes the relevance of using compensatory mitigation to conserve wetlands in Florida. It examines the existing state of Florida's wetlands and explains the problems faced by them as well as their need for protection. It describes the regulatory framework governing Florida's wetlands including the Clean Water Act of 1977, Wetlands Reserve Enhancement Program (WREP) and the U.S. National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA).
