- Abstract
Syringocystadenoma papilliferum is a rare benign hamartomatous adnexal tumour which is presumably derived from undifferentiated pluripotent stem cells and differentiates towards eccrine and/or apocrine apparatuses. Histopathological examination showed an exophytic tumour with several papillary infoldings lined by apocrine epithelium (Fig. c), which consisted of two rows of cells. (c) Histopathological examination showing an endophytic tumour with several papillary infoldings lined by apocrine epithelium (H&E, ×40).
