- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 06-year-old Hispanic female with emesis and fever. Topics include symptoms progressing with new-onset tachypnea, left lower extremity pain, abdominal pain, and prompting return to the ED; and concerning for acute respiratory failure as well as significant left lower limb edema, pain, petechiae, and purpura on examination.
