- Abstract
The article describes the development of bronchiolitis obliterans (BO) in an 8 year old boy hospitalized due to cough for 3 days accompanied by fever, wheezing and dyspnea. He was found to have 3 depression signs, flaring nostrils and cyanotic lips with breathing 34 times per minute. He was diagnosed with BO accompanying pneumonia and received aerosol inhalation of budesonide and compound ipratropium bromide and intravenous infusion of methylprednisolone sodium succinate every 8 hours.
