- Abstract
The article deals with a study on the link between the number of lymph nodes examined and the probability of detecting at least a single lymph node involved by metastatic disease in endometrioid corpus cancer patients. The researchers used demographic, clinicopathologic and surgical data from the U.S. National Cancer Institute between 1990 and 2001. The results indicate that increasing the number of lymph nodes removed increases the likelihood of identifying those with lymph node metastases.
