- Abstract
Dear Editor, Systemic inflammation in Hidradenitis Suppurativa has been topical in your publication recently.[[1]] We wish to record a case of AA amyloidosis in a HS patient. A latency period to diagnose amyloidosis after HS onset is between 3 and 51 years.[4] Our patient had HS for 30 years before diagnosing systemic amyloidosis and may have been multifactorial with concurrent inflammatory bowel disease.
