- Abstract
This article, titled "EP14.21: Impact of selective fetal growth restriction on survival after fetoscopic laser ablation in Twin–twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS)," examines the effect of selective fetal growth restriction (sFGR) on survival rates in monochorionic diamniotic twin pregnancies with Twin–twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) treated by fetoscopic laser photocoagulation (FLP). The study, conducted at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, analyzed data from 209 pregnancies and found that survival at birth was higher in pregnancies with TTTS only compared to those with TTTS and sFGR, particularly in stages III-IV. The authors conclude that sFGR significantly impacts survival after FLP in TTTS in stages III-IV.
