- Abstract
The article discusses research which investigated the moral and ethical issues which are raised in institutional review board (IRB) approved studies in which scientists enroll their own children into the research. A lack of guidelines which exists for research which involves researchers' children is discussed. Factors that researchers should consider when deciding whether to include their children in research are discussed.
