- Abstract
The article discusses the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) University webinar titled "Emulsifiers 101". It discusses metalworking formulators along with emulsions, their formation and types of water-based fluids utilized in metalworking applications. It mentions the use of soluble oils, semisynthetics and synthetic metal working fluids (MWF) in metalworks. It adds that balance of cooling and lubricity can help in improving efficiency of metalworking application.
