- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the properties of the immobilized glutamate decarboxylase A (GadA) on a metal affinity resin and the efficiency of a bioreactor for y-aminobutyric acid (GABA) production from glutamate. Topics discussed include an examination on the reusability of the immobilized enzyme due to its importance for repeated applications in a bioreactor and the valuable advantages of the high temperature processing in industrial applications.
