- Abstract
3D microarchitecture SrVO:xSm phosphors have been fabricated via hydrothermal method, and their crystalline phase, morphology, and luminescent properties were investigated. The SEM results indicate that the broom- and flower-like micorarchitecture is self-assembled by numerous nanorods. The luminescent properties of SrVO: xSm samples suggest that the most intense emission is located around 648 nm due to G → H transition of Sm. The emission intensity is enhanced with Sm doping and the related mechanism is discussed in detail.
