- Authors
Abdullah Samani, Sami I.; Mullick, Satish C.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the procedures of incorporating a crown in a removable partial prosthesis. It states that lengthening the usability of prosthesis and the tooth are possible if the abutment is repaired with a new crown. It cites the case of an old woman that has a broken prosthetic tooth, wherein it caused her partial denture. After evaluating the case of the old woman's damaged prosthesis, it was considered that her present prosthesis should be retained, a pin should be built to prolong the amalgam core and install a new crown to secure the denture's grasp.
