- Abstract
1 West Visayas State University Medical Center, Philippines A 43 year old male, Filipino, single, government employee from Guimaras Island in Iloilo City, Philippines was admitted because of difficulty of breathing and dysphagia. Two weeks before admission he had dyspnea, cough, dysphagia and orthopnea. On the 32nd hospital day he expired from sepsis secondary to nosocomial and ventilator associated pneumonia(Klebsiella and Pseudomonas aeruginosa), acute respiratory failure secondary, monophasic synovial sarcoma in the supero posterior mediastinum with probable metastasis, bilateral pneumothoraces/p closed tube thoracosotomy tube insertion, right.
