- Abstract
A 72-year-old woman with an ulcer on the left inner ankle and purpuric, pigmentary angiodermatitis complained of a diffuse dermatitis. Examination showed an itchy red popular eruption on the front of the legs and forearms. These lesions first appeared on the left leg, then on the right and finally on the upper limbs. The ulcer had recently enlarged and was surrounded by a swollen red ring. Fourteen years earlier, she had an acute eczema on the dorsum of the left foot which was attributed to the glue of shoes.
