- Abstract
This document is a correction notice for an article titled "Relationships between Affect Recognition, Empathy, Alexithymia, and Co-Occurring Conditions in Autism" published in the journal Brain Sciences. The correction states that there was an error in Table 2 of the original publication, specifically in the mean and standard deviation column values for certain rows related to alexithymia. The corrected table has been provided, and the authors assure that the scientific conclusions of the study remain unaffected. The correction was approved by the Academic Editor, and the original publication has been updated. The article uses ANCOVA to analyze differences between typically developing individuals (TD) and those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in terms of empathy, alexithymia, affect recognition, and theory of mind. The test statistics that were found to be significant at a 95% confidence level are marked with an asterisk.
