- Abstract
An editorial is presented in which the authors discuss the education of undergraduates studying public health in the U.S. and what they refer to as the identity of public health degrees. They present various questions concerning the skills for which public health programs are preparing students, how public health can boost equitable access to health care and mitigate institutional racism, and how undergraduate public health programs can strengthen the public health labor market.
