- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 30-year-old man who was transferred to the Renal Unit and Radiology Department of the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, Oxfordshire, Great Britain for dialysis from a peripheral hospital due to consumption of 120 milligrams of methadone as a celebration of his prison release. The performed magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), due to persistent bilateral leg pain and a right-sided foot-drop, demonstrated bilateral gluteal oedema consistent with habdomyolysis.
