- Abstract
Systemic lupus erytematous is usually a multiorgan disease. Neurological disorder can present as seizures, encephalopathy, coma, stroke, psychosis, etc. Materials and methods: This is a retrospective study with SLE patients witch were admitted in SF. Maria Hospital between 1 June 2008 and December 2009. So, we revised the charts of a total of 93 patients with SLE. We tried to identify some predictive factors for neurological involvement in SLE. The statistic analysis was made with SPSS pentru Windows Xp, versiunea 17.0. Results and conclusions: 13-th of 93 patients were diagnosed with neuro-lupus. They were compared with 26 -- matched controlled patients without neurological involvement, so we were able to establish some predictive factors for neuro-lupus, such as demographic factors, disease activity, antiphospholypidic syndrome.
