- Abstract
The article presents a reprint of an article that was earlier published in the journal "Washington Post." The article discusses the future of the Guantanamo ay Detention Facility, used by the U.S. for the detention of terrorists, in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The author states, that despite of criticism by human rights activists and other groups, it is unlikely that the government would close the facility in next 10 years. Also with the increase in terrorism such facilities are important for the U.S.
