- Abstract
The article focuses on a study on the efficacy and safety of risedronate in the treatment of mild pediatric osteogenesis imperfecta (OI). The results of the study showed that serum levels of the bone resorption marker collagen type I N-telopeptide were reduced by risedronate by 35% compared with the 6% of placebo. The results also found that lumbar spine areal bone mineral density (BMD) was increased by risedronate.
