- Abstract
The article reports a study which investigated the self-assessment of professionalism in terms of its fundamental elements among Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) medical students. The result revealed that professionalism of UKM medical students is good with insignificant differences between gender and year of study. However, 10 percent respondents were unaware of professionalism. Experience and role-modeling should be given priority in teaching-learning of professionalism.
