- Abstract
In the article "Hydrogel Enabled Dual-Shielding Improves Efficiency and Stability of BiVO4 Based Photoanode for Solar Water Splitting," Qian Zhang, Qijie Liang, and their colleagues introduce a hydrogel-enabled dual-shielding strategy to enhance the efficiency and stability of photoanodes during solar water splitting. The use of FeCoOx/PAAM on BiVO4 improves the kinetics of the oxygen evolution reaction, bubble dynamics, and prevents ion dissolution diffusion. This strategy is particularly effective under high intensity illumination.
