- Abstract
The article discusses a study related to emergence of safe treatments and disease-modifying therapy (DMT) for multiple sclerosis (MS). It highlights studies showing that patients with secondary progressive MS (SPMS) do not benefit from DMT. It also mentions that studies of natalizumab and their subsequent open-label extensions with voluntary drug withdrawal demonstrated a rebound phenomenon of return of disease activity in previously stable patients.
