- Abstract
The article discusses elevated lactate levels as a symptom of Mauriac Syndrome among patients with poorly regulated type 1 diabetes and glycogenic hepatopathy. Topics discussed include common physical presentations of patients being seen at the emergency room and later diagnosed with Mauriac Syndrome and reasons behind the argument of misdiagnosis due to the similarity between concomitant diabetes and lactatemia.
