Zeller, John L.; Goodman, Denise M.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the pulmonary hypertension (PH). It mentions the cause of PH as small arteries in the lung become abnormally narrow which results in blockage in blood stream passing through the lungs to absorb oxygen, consequently leading to high blood pressure. It includes several symptoms of PH including excessive fatigue, ankle swelling and chest pain. It adds that the treatment of PH depends on the cause and severity of the condition in a patient.
