- Abstract
Efforts are also being made to improve primary education for clinicians and explain the immunological mechanisms behind pregnancy failure and pregnancy complications. The development of reproductive immunology in China can be traced back to the implementation of Family Planning as a national policy in the 1970s, which led to a surge in demand for contraceptive methods.[1] In 1985, the Chinese Society for Reproductive Immunology (CSRI) was established as a collaborative research group focused on contraceptive vaccination, with an initial focus on clinical applications such as the development of vaccines to induce immune responses against sperm and ova. IMMUNOLOGICAL INDICATORS FOR PREDICTING PREGNANCY FAILURE AND CLINICAL INTERVENTION The first attempts at clinical testing and intervention in reproductive immunology by Chinese physicians started mainly with recurrent miscarriages.
