- Abstract
The article presents a study regarding the characterization of the hyperbranched polyesters (HBPs) based from the used 2,2-bis(methylol)propionic acid (DMPA) and pentaerythritol (PE). It states that the characterization of the polyesters was conducted through the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), rheology on solution, and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). It adds that the HBPs solutions in dimethyl formamide (DMF) had shown a shear thickening behavior.
