- Abstract
The article presents a study that describes the effects of polychlorobiphenyls (PCBs) on the testosterone level, hepatic xenobiotic metabolism and plasma enzyme of Perdix perdix. The study is undertaken through synthesizing alkoxycoumarins from alkyl iodides and umbelliferone as well as the rearing of predix outside the wire mesh. The results of the study reveal that testosterone activities as well as that of plasma marker enzyme remain unmodified after feeding of PCB.
