- Abstract
The CT scans demonstrated ALHA arising from the LGA and, of note, also showed a duplicated LGA originating from the coeliac trunk (Fig. (a) The aberrant left hepatic artery (ALHA) branching from the left gastric artery (LGA) was identified during dissection of the gastrohepatic ligament. Gastrectomy with regional lymph node dissection is a mainstay in the curative treatment of gastric cancer.1 To assure appropriate nodal clearance while maintaining surgical safety, perioperative assessment of vascular anatomy is essential.
