- Abstract
This paper introduces basic situation and energy use of 120X104 t/a diesel hydrofining unit in Yangzi Petrochemical Refinery. According to the characteristics of the unit, a series of energy saving measures have been put forward on the new hydrogen compressors, heating furnaces and pumps, which not only solve the problems of these equipments in the production process, but also greatly reduce the unit energy consumption. The energy consumption of the unit decreases from 18.42 kgEO/t at the start to 11.63 kgEO/t in 2011. To further reduce the energy consumption of the unit, hydraulic turbine will be added.
