- Abstract
The article focuses on the studies regarding the role of intrinsic DNA sequence preferences in identifying the organization of nuecleosome in vivo. The studies restructured nucleosomes in vitro with the use of purified histone octamers and yeast genomic DNA mapping the resulting nucleosomes genome-wide using micrococcal nuclease and parallel DNA sequencing. The argument on the quantification of the contribution of intrinsic nucleosome sequence preferences is cited.
