- Abstract
The article explores the manner in which Scandinavian and Dutch poets deal with emotional passages in Medieval Arthurian literature. Topics discussed include the presentation of emotions by minor characters and a protagonist in two episodes from the French poet Chrétien de Troyes' romances and their Old Norse adaptations. The Middle Dutch text of the manuscript of "Lancelot Compilation" is also presented.
