- Abstract
The article discusses the study about the stimulatory effects of pseudosasa japonica leaves on exercise endurance and fatigue reduction. The performance-enhancing effects of this type of bamboo were analyzed in mice. An adjustable current water pool was used to test the swimming endurance of two groups of mice. Results show that the group administered with an 80 % ethanol extract of the Pseudosasa japonica leaves indicated lower blood lactate level, an indicator of fatigue.
