- Abstract
The article presents a case study related to the morphology of Bohn's nodules. A 16-day-old male baby was seen for the presence of papular lesions at the oral mucosa. Dermatological examination revealed multiple whitish papules clustered along the vestibular aspect of the alveolar ridge of the maxillary and, in lesser degree, of the mandibular arches. The article reports that the clinical diagnosis of Bohn's nodules is quite easy, but they must be differentiated from natal or neonatal teeth, which in turn may be associated with a number of genetic disorders, such as pachyonychia congenita.
