The article discusses the spectroscopic analysis and preparation results of xanthene-type dyes , where triazole ring was introduced to xanthene-type dyes by copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition reaction. Topics include an ethynyl group being introduced to xanthone through addition reaction, figure showing synthesis of xanthene-based dyes and the click ckemistry.
