- Abstract
The article provides information on a study which examined the anti-inflammatory and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPAR) transactivational effects of components from Ginkgo biloba seeds. Topics discussed include the evaluation of the effects of compounds on PPAR activation using a peroxisome proliferator responsive element (PPRE)-luciferase reporter assay, extraction and isolation of the dried seeds, and evaluation of cell viability.
