- Abstract
The article reports on a study which applied a microwave-assisted chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method to prepare oriented vapor-grown carbon fibers (VGCF) on pyrolitic carbon films by direct pyrolysis of methane without the use of any catalysts. Researchers conducted field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and Raman spectroscopy to characterize the morphology and structure of products.
