- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the usefulness of virtual computed tomographic (VCT) gastrectomy for laparoscopic gastrectomy including the VCT navigation of sentinel lymph nodes. The benefits of the laparoscopic approach include smaller surgical incision, lesser interoperative blood loss, faster recovery for normal bowel function and shorter hospital stay, compared to the conventional open surgery.
