- Abstract
The author focuses on the three areas identified for public-private collaborative improvements in cancer drug development by the Life Sciences Consortium (LSC), a tax force of the CEO Roundtable on Cancer convened by the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI). The aim of the roundtable is to determine the applicability of the Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology (SEMATECH) business model to cancer drug development. The areas include improved delivery of cancer drug clinical trials, regulatory streamlining for drug approval.
