- Abstract
The article presents a case study of systemic allergic dermatitis from budesonide in a 63-year-old Caucasian female who underwent patch tests with inhaled corticosteroid ciclesonide. It states that the inhalation corticosteroid treatment of the patient was changed to fluticasone proprionate. It says that cross-reactivity between ciclesonide and budesonide may have clinical implications for those with delayed-type allergic response to inhalative budesonide.
