- Abstract
The article presents a case study of an 89-year-old woman with allergic contact dermatitis after using Otogen® otic drops. It says that a patch test was performed and all ingredients of otic drops were examined which includes phenol, menthol, and tetracaine chlorhydrate. It tells that skin sensitization to tetracaine hydrochloride was detected using the TRUE Test® system. It mentions that the patient's dermatitis healed after a week of taking topical steroids.
