The article features the research that evaluates the effectiveness of gynaecological patients involvement in the development of guidelines about the resumption of work-related activitivities after surgical operations in the Netherlands. The topics discussed include the reasons of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the EMGO Institute for Health and Care Research in developing clinical guidelines and the parallel trajectories of guideline development procedure.
