- Abstract
The article discusses the study on the efficacy of the rabeprazole, a new and promising proton pump inhibitor for ulcers. Various reviews on the relevant safety and tolerability issues that have been raised regarding proton pump inhibitor are tackled. The study has concluded that rabeprazole has a consistently favorable tolerability profile, and that the benefits of treatment outweigh any known presumed risks, making it an addition to the list of agents used to treat serious disorders.
