- Abstract
The article focuses on analysis of high-resolution observations for an intense tropical cyclone such as the 2015 Hurricane Patricia. Topics discussed include illustration of the Tropical Cyclone Intensity (TCI) for early scientific highlights regarding prediction of the hurricane and cyclone; utilization of different research aircraft such as the WB-57 for attainment of resolutions; and observation of thermodynamic fields in an inner cores of Hurricane Patricia and Joaquin.
