- Abstract
The article looks at Tenkatsu, an important but nearly forgotten production company of the 1910 in Japan. It cites that Tenkatsu was the only production firm that provides the opportunity for making the Pure Motion Picture Drama, the films that examined completely accidental forms of film art and rejected the old formula of motion pictures in Japan. It is also emphasized that this company let it motion pictures be produced under the poor conditions. The author also gives emphasis on Japan's kinemacolor films.
