- Abstract
The article presents the clinical case of a 45-year-old man who presented with mild right-flank discomfort. An inverted J-type deformity with dilatation above the mid-ureter and medial swing of the middle ureteral segment was detected through the use of maximum-intensity-projection image of F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography. Ureteral anastomosis anterior to the inferior vena cava was performed after the excision of the stenosed segment.
