- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 77-year-old woman with post-essential thrombocythaemia myelofibrosis was admitted to hospital with general deterioration. She had taking ruxolitinib for management of symptomatic splenomegaly and constitutional symptoms related to myelofibrosis. She was also treated with antimicrobials for presumed skin infection and discusses the sweet syndrome, a rare reactive skin condition characterized by leucocytosis and painful skin lesions.
